That's it, this totally proves that I'm a masochist to the extreme.
If you think the last tutorial was long...pffft. IT IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THIS BEAST. This is at least double the size of the last one D:
I made a poll awhile back asking people what they'd like to see most in my next tutorial. Out of the options I gave, I got mostly inking, hair, background, coloring large areas, blending, and a whole lot of "EVERYTHING!".
You guys got your wish. I included EVERYTHING
This isn't ALL of the steps (I think I left out at least 1/3 of it), but these are probably the most useful stuff to put in a tutorial.
I hope this will be helpful and that you guys can get something out of this! (If not, I would be terrible sad). I tried not to repeat myself from the last tutorial and go over new things. So yeah, let me know if it helps. I will be very happy :B
Have fun!
Photoshop CS3. 12 hours. ...yeah, I'm gonna go sleep for the next 24 hours now, kthxbai
i say this a while ago and i had no idea who the characters were, and I didn't even read the names.. But I watched (and read part of) this series last summer!! Looking over this i say 'kyoya' and I was thinking of that.. also.. sorry that I'm commenting so long on like three of your drawing tutorials XD
Brilliant tutorial (and gorgeous picture!)! I recently bought lots of copic markers in Japan and I'm afraid to use them... I honestly have no idea how to- so this is a massive help. I'm used to colouring with colouring pencils which have a blend-ability- is it the same for copic markers? they don't act like typical markers, do they?- as you mention you can blend before they dry? How thick do you recommend the paper should be? Again, brilliant tutorial, I feel like busting them out now and having a go!
I think it will be really useful for my next art work
