YES, my big Vampire Knight piece is done!! PRAISE THE LORD. This thing gave me a severe migraine the whole way through, yet at the same time it was seriously fun. (Masochistic much?)

You may recognize the right half of this (with Zero and Yuki), which is my last deviation, "My Only Knight" ([link]). The left half is the new picture I did this week like I promised to all of the Kaname x Yuki lovers. Each pair is done on a separate sheet of paper and then combined on Photoshop afterwards.

Yes, there's two Yuki's. And also two different wind and light sources (the shadows casted by their invisible wings are on opposite sides) =__=;; But meh, LOGIC ESCAPES ME AFTER 30 SOME HOURS OF DRAWING THIS EVIL THING *shot*. Plus, it wouldn't have looked as cool if both dudes didn't get a wing-shadow of their own : P

Now begins my rant. WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS UP WITH KANAME'S HAIR?! I swear, this man has like 4019283234 different shades in that mane of his. I must have used about 8 various shades of brown, gray, beige, and purple (wtf?) on his hair... and achieved something that looks boringly brown. GOOD GOD. *shaves it all off*

The color scheme of the KanaxYuki side is basically the opposite of the earlier ZeroxYuki piece, with some changes. It might sound simple, but good God, it took forever to work the colors out. I wanted to do black background at first, but that idea got tossed b/c it would've been really freaking hard to do a transparent black veil against a black wall. Then those tiny little BEADS. Coloring around them were a pain.

Why do I have to be a sucker for little nitpicky details? *sigh*

I was wondering, the shadows of the wings, did you colour those over Yuuki's veil?

beleive me, i know what you mean by the whole, nit-picky-detail-crazy-torturing-yourself-thing, i've done it too many times to count, (i.e: i absolutely LOATH drawing roses, yet i go slap-happy with them in any chance i get (i think it's 'cause i'm a sucker for what's ''prettyyyy'' you know?)

but you did a way better job than i've ever done, kudo's to you ^^ keep up the good work!
