On the other hand, the uniformness of the picture leaves me wondering where to focus on. "What is the focus of this picture?" Something about the composition of the girl standing and the back of the (horse?) pokemon draws the eye in two different directions, almost leaving a void space in the center of the image. I think these things take away from the impact of the image, and abit on the technique.
Now what is an addition to the image is the amout of character in the characters. each entity is desplaying something that adds to the story.
props for the background, the detail is awesome. Double props if you didn't just do it once and copy and pasted it, and triple props if it isn't done seperatly from the foreground. I think you chose a good background colour that dosen't take away from the foreground.
details in the girls lace and shoes, and the yellow Pokemon's outfit are awesome! That's a very nicely done rose as well!
Overall, I really like the concept of the black tie thing, and believe it ties in very well with the B+W Pokemon theme. points for originality and vision!
What i most like in this picture is that the pokémon are very fun to look at.The 4 pokémon standing on top of each other are just too adorable.Also the clothing of the pokémon and the 2 characters look very good.Especially the shoes of the female character look nice and unique.
As always your copic skills are amazing. Though I hoped for the patterns in the background to be traditional too(as in your drawing ''vintage'').I can understand it would be very hard to do. But I think it still looks great with the editing!
All I have to say is that I hope for everyone, the game will be as great as your drawing!
