Quest for Improvement

Ugh. I almost feel a need to put a Mature Content label on this thing for those disturbing old drawings of mine.

Besides for the fun and laughs that this deviation (hopefully) provided, I made this for all of the artists out there who have ever doubted themselves.
(And also because I wanted to do something semi-meaningful on my last day being 16 years old )

All the time around deviantart, I see people say things like "I'll never be as good as so and so", "I have no talent", "I can't draw", and such. It frustrates me just a little to hear this, and hopefully this will give you a little hope. You WILL improve if you keep on practicing. There will always be room for improvement- for you, for me, for everyone.

I have huge binders full of drawings and sketches that I drew every year since I've started, and each and every one of them helped me get to where I am now. If you feel discouraged sometimes, just keep at it and don't let your doubt get the best of you. In a couple of years you can look back at your old drawings like I did today, and you'll see how just far you've come.

It'll be a good feeling, I can guarantee you .
