My characters, Zoe and Bubble o3o

I realized that I've never really drawn them in non-chibi style and they're usually doing something retarded in the previous pictures. So here's a serious picture of the two :iconseriouscatplz:

It really was just a doodle, hence the boring pose, and I just wanted to draw Zoe in a pretty dress. But somehow I ended up coloring the entire thing and burning the midnight oil trying to freehand damask (<3) patterns. That was hard. orz;;

I also realized that I can't draw straight lines. Even with a ruler :|

OK BACK TO REAL WORK NOW OTL;;;;;;;

Amazing drawing, especially using markers and not a digital medium. The whole scene goes together so perfectly, it has a very old fashioned feel, as someone mentioned below. From the dress with stockings, to the top hat, and the wall paper pattern.

This is a lovely anime drawing, and the amount of detail and coloring is awe inspiring. I can see clearly why it took you six hours to do this deviation.

The shading, details, even the curve and folds of the dress are perfect. This is an excellent work, and you should be very proud you spent 6 hours of your life on something that is great.

The only point I took off was for impact, because it's not a breathtaking picture, and it's not meant to be. You achieved the desired effect, but it's not an image you instantly say wow too, however, after seeing the detail, that changes.

Great work.

Amazing job! This picture is stunning! I love the old-fashioned feeling, mixed with modern twist such as the grey wall paper. Her tights are truly brilliant, great idea to give the tights pattern, it gives a better impression of fabric, same goes for all the laces on her dress. Bu I think the purse looks a little unnatural, it looks like it´s not touching her dress.
The whole picture gives an old yet modern impression, that´s hard to achieve but you did it! I haven´t seen anybody as talented as you are with your Copics keep up the good work^^
