FULL VIEW PLEASE
....and this is what you get by watching so damn many depressing korean dramas. They can turn anyone emo, I swear. I'm quite happy w/ this one. VERY happy  . Probably it's b/c this drawing actually MEANS something, rather than just picture. The best kind of art (for me) is the kind that tell a story without any words, and that's what I was trying to get at here. As for the story...I'm sure you highly imaginative people will have no trouble at all in making up one for yourselves xD. And for the art itself...let's just say at one point I would have gladly ripped it to shreds (had I not have already spent 6 hrs on it). All was good...UNTIL THE BG. I had no idea what I was trying to achieve, but I started airbrushing like crazy. Then I realized I wouldn't be able to get a even coating of gray, so I switched midway to just coloring w/ the gray marker...which came out completely puke-worthy. But I fixed it up (somehow), and now I'm totally on an ego-high for saving my precious drawing  . Material: Staedtler Pigment pens, Copic markers (I maxed out my grays here), Copic airbrush (goodbye, aircan 80.), and my white pen. Time: 10 hrs. |

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
